Our first eyeglass clinic

We began the morning with coffee and a small breakfast.  Joel provided a devotion remnding us about a sacrifice for use for Jesus in the mission work.  We then walked from our hotel three blocks to Pastor Junior's church.  Many community members were already in line.  We set up stations for each to attend.  After giving their information, a sheet of paper gave each team member information about their health and the results of their eye screening.  Team members pulled eyeglasses, helped individuals try on their glasses, and adjusted their new glasses.  Pastor Junior gave an evangelism talk to the community members between the screening and the eyeglass fittings.  The morning went fast, ending with over ninety people served.  Following lunch, more people were served, bringing the total to 133.  We also welcomed Cindy, Bailey, and Penny as they arrived from their delayed departure.  A team photo captures the celebration of lives changed by being ready to give our best to Him, who sees all and knows all.   John's devotion and song reminded us that our Good, Good Father provides a double blessing when we trust in his ways.  We certainly felt that way today!
